The prospect of a vaccine to shield Americans from coronavirus emerged Monday as a point of contention in the White House race as Prez Trump accused Democrats of "disparaging'' for political gain a vaccine he has said could be available before the election. Trump said the vaccine will be safe and effective, a day after Sen. Kamala Harris said she "would not trust his word''.
